General information

This site is powered by WordPress, in addition to my own willpower, of course. I’ve made the theme you see entirely myself. Although I have had websites before, this is the first real site I’ve made after having learned about (X)HTML, CSS and web design in general.

The site uses a few plugins, the ones you notice are the following:

Search everything, which enables searching the entire site

Live Comment Preview, which makes live previews of comments

Random quotes, which displays the quotes you see in the sidebar.

The coding on this site belongs to either me, WordPress or the authors of the plugins used. Most of the content on this page belongs to me, and it is free to use except when stated otherwise on the individual pages. Any direct linking (which means showing an image on your site which is still on my server, thereby using my bandwidth) is not acceptable, and will be seen as an attempt to steal my resources. The header image and other designed work is created by me, some of it with the help of images from morguefile. If you want to use any written material from this site, I would appreciate it if you link back to me.

Name

By now you have probably seen the name of my website and started wondering where that came from. Well, it’s a simple explanation really. You see, my given name is Ragnhild, which the english-speaking world has problems coming to terms with, since it is a very old, Norwegian name. Because of this, it was made into Ragnchild, which is somewhat more manageable, and what do you know, the domain was available, and so here we are. By the way, there is actually a land on the bottom of the world map called princess Ragnhild’s land. Just in case you wanted to know.
